These air fryer southwest chicken taquitos are healthy, macro friendly, low in carbs and fats, and packed with protein.
These southwest chicken taquitos are made with Cut Da Carb wraps, chicken, black beans, green chiles, cheese, and cream cheese. The macros are amazing already but you can alway swap out the cream cheese for non fat greek yogurt if you want. These can be used as an appetizer or meal. They would also taste great dip in guacamole.
INGREDIENTS
8oz chicken breast
1/2 cup (56g) reduced fat shredded cheese
salt/pepper
DIRECTIONS
Cook and shred chicken. I cooked mine in the crockpot or feel free to use a rotisserie chicken.
Preheat air fryer to 370 degrees F.
In a medium size bow, mix together chicken, cream cheese, shredded cheese, black beans, green chiles, chili powder, salt, and pepper.
Make sure you cut the cut da carbs wraps into 4 pieces and divided filling mixture between them. Roll them up and place in air fryer.
Cook for 4-5 minutes on 370 degrees F flipping half way through. You may have to cook in batches depending on how big your air fryer is.
Serve with guacamole, sour cream, or boathouse dressing. (not included in macros)
