INGREDIENTS
1 cup warm water (110 degrees F)
1 tsp sugar
2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1/2 tsp salt
DIRECTIONS
Place warm water, yeast, and sugar into the bowl of your kitchen aid mixer with the dough hook attachment attached. Mix gently then let sit for 5 minutes.
With the mixer on low, add olive oil, flour, and salt. Scrape the sides of the mixture if needed and let the mixer knead the dough for 5 minutes.
On a clean counter top surface, sprinkle with flour and add dough on top of flour. Fold dough over itself a couple times then form into a round ball. Place dough in a oiled bowl and let rise for 1-2 hours or until it doubles in size.
From here you can make one big pizza, multiple pizzas, or a calzone pizza. Check out my Turkey Pepperoni recipe here.
Cook pizza on 400 degrees F for 15 minutes or until is cooked through.
