Need something new to make for dinner this week? Try these Garlic Parmesan Meatballs. They're packed with protein and take minutes to prepare.
These Garlic Parmesan Meatballs would go great over pasta or you can use spaghetti squash for lower carb. You could also make a meatball sandwich.
INGREDIENTS
1 pound ground beef or turkey
1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup breadcrumbs
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 egg, beaten
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 jar marinara sauce
DIRECTIONS
Preheat your oven to 375°F(190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, grated Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, beaten egg, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are well combined.
Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1-2 inches in diameter, and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until they are cooked through and browned on the outside.
In a separate saucepan, heat the marinara sauce over medium heat until warmed through. You can also add additional garlic and herbs to the sauce if desired.
Once the meatballs are cooked, remove them from the oven and place them in the marinara sauce. Gently stir to coat the meatballs with the sauce.
