HEALTHY COTTAGE CHEESE EGG BAKE

Need a high protein breakfast recipe? Try this high protein cottage cheese egg bake. I promise even if you don’t like cottage cheese you will like this can can’t taste the cottage cheese.










HEALTHY COTTAGE CHEESE EGG BAKE


If you like Starbucks egg white bites you will like this cottage cheese bake. Adding the cottage cheese increases the protein without having to add a lot of eggs or egg whites.





HEALTHY COTTAGE CHEESE EGG BAKE



INGREDIENTS


8 eggs

4 slices turkey bacon

1/2 cup shredded cheese

Bell pepper

Salt/pepper





DIRECTIONS


  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line a baking pan with parchment paper. Added turkey bacon to baking pan. Cook for about 20 minutes or until your desired crispiness.

  2. Lower oven temperture to 375 degrees. Spray a 8x8 inch casserole dish with non steak, cooking spray.

  3. Add cottage cheese to a food processor or blender and blend until smooth.

  4. In a medium size bowl add your eight eggs and whisk next add your cottage cheese and mixed together next add your turkey bacon and bell pepper and mix. Season with salt and pepper.

  5. Add your egg mixture to your casserole dish. Top with shredded cheese.

  6. Place an oven and cook for about 30 minutes or until cooked all the way through in the middle.

  7. Enjoy!
