These Protein Freezer Waffles are easy to make for meal prep, packet with protein, and even a great breakfast for kids.
Since becoming a mom this year I feel like I have less time to cook. So to make morning easier I like to prep easy things to have. These Freezer Protein Waffles are one of my favorites. I like to eat them with fruit, syrup, and almond butter or for a post workout meal or snack I like to use them for a Almond butter and jelly sandwich.
INGREDIENTS
3/4 cup (138g) egg whites
1 cup water
DIRECTIONS
Preheat waffle iron.
Mix together kodiak cakes, egg whites, and water.
Spray waffle maker with non-stick cooking spray. Using a 1/4 cup measuring cup, pour batter onto preheated waffle iron. Repeat until batter is done.
Makes 12 waffles.
Place waffles on a cooling rack. Once cooled completely storage in a zip lock bag. To heat place in toasted.
